Rev. Gloria J. Bland became a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in October 2004, along with her husband Bill and their daughter Natasha. She joined the Church Full Time Staff, April 28, 2008. Rev. Gloria J. Bland is the Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Children and Youth Ministry, Youth Pastor, Rev. Weaver Blondin. She serves in multiple areas within the Children and Youth Ministry. In September 2004, she became a first year student of Faith Christians University and Schools, with the aspirations of obtaining her Associates Degree in Biblical Studies, Gloria continues to study to achieve this awesome goal. Gloria accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior December 13, 1998 and was baptized January 6, 1999. She received her calling to preach the Gospel in October 2004, under the mentoring of her spiritual father Rev. Dr. James L. Graham, Jr. Senior Pastor and Ministers Institute. Rev. Bland was licensed to preach, January 14, 2007 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Herndon, VA.
