Our Mission
The Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Singles Ministry is comprised of Christian singles by choice or circumstance; never married, divorcees, widows, widowers, and single parents working together for the purpose of:
- Winning souls for Christ.
- Providing a morally and spiritually sound environment for meeting and becoming acquainted with other Christian singles.
- Aiding to the spiritual growth and physical support to Christian singles.
- Witness collectively as a ministry.
- To create a network within the surrounding metropolitan area of spiritual support system among Christian singles.

- A Fellowship opportunity each month;
- A chance to Evangelize by encouraging your single friends and acquaintances to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ through our Bible Study and Prayer; and- A support system to enable you to grow as a believer of Jesus Christ through ongoing Discipleship with other like-minded singles.

Our theme is "Discipleship in Action", and our scripture is Matthew 10:5-7, “These twelve Jesus sent out the following instructions: ‘Do not go among the Gentiles or any other town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, preach this message: The Kingdom of Heaven is near.” We are serious about taking a stand for Christ in our daily lives because we know that “the Kingdom of Heaven is near”. Therefore, we seek to encourage each other by feeding on his word, fostering an atmosphere of deliverance, sharing our testimonies, and having a great time in the Lord.
