OUR MISSION
To go and make disciples of all nations by following Jesus Christ and equipping trainees to share the gospel with non-believers.

OUR VISION

• To share the gospel of Jesus Christ in a natural and non-threatening way with non-believers
• To encourage all non-believers to believe in Jesus Christ
• To make certain believers have assurance of eternal life
• To help believers grow into disciples of Jesus Christ
• To increase the number of disciples exponentially
• To unify all ministries within Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church by “unleashing the missionaries in the pews.”

WHERE AND WHEN WE MEET
Our Evangelism Ministry is a dedicated group of believers who meet on Monday evenings at 6:00 pm. Our normal meeting place is in the church.

A portion of our meeting time is spent in the classroom training and the remainder of the time is spent on the job training (“O.J.T”) outside of the church. Our meetings are divided into two thirteen (13) week semesters.

WHAT WE DO

• Utilize the Bible as our primary teaching tool
• Incorporate the Youth Evangelism Explosion (“EE”) teaching technique to equip trainees to share the gospel of Jesus Christ

What is Evangelism Explosion (“EE”)?

• EE is an effective strategy for training laypeople to spread God’s message
• Youth EE is an adaptation of the adult EE in which the Gospel presentation is given in a less formal “user friendly” contemporary style
• EE incorporates a 13-week training semester
• Gives a model gospel presentation
• Implements on-the-job training (“O.J.T”)
• Enlists prayer partners
• Organizes a visitation ministry
• Multiply the number of trainers into witnesses
