Junior Recruits of the Cross (JROTC)
|
In addition to the precepts of Mount Pleasant Bapist Church, the focus of the pre-teen ministry is to instill the love of God in each youth, age’s 10- 12. This is achieved through teachings and guidance of Godly mentors. Lessons are designed to help this age group face daily challenges through discussions, bible explorations and social activities, which will aid in the development of Godly relationships. Diverse activities include Inter-Christian fellowships, community service projects, social events, and field trips, all to prepare for Godly service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

YOUTH SPORTS MINISTRY
TEAM JESUS
|
In alignment with the youth ministry's purpose of reaching non-believing students and connecting them with other Christians, the goal of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church youth sports ministry is to provide fellowship, evangelism opportunities, and worship through group and family activities. This is achieved by forming teams to compete in the local church and county leagues; organizing athletic tournaments; attending sporting events; and bringing in professional Christian athletes to speak to the youth.

Logistics
Ministry
|
The request for conferences has grown within our ministry. Not only do we hold conferences/training for our adult leaders and children and youth but also for the parents. Additionally, we will plan to conduct a Youth Ministry leader’s conference for children and youth ministry leaders around the country. As such a ministry focus for conferences is needed to ensure that all activity is conducted with decency and in order. Because these activities touch multiple C&Y ministries, this ministry will focus on uniting our resources to help bring forth the intended conferences in a collaborative manner.
