Jennifer Harrell was born in the small town of Ahoskie, North Carolina. Raised in a small town her parents laid the foundation for a Christian-based home for her sisters and brothers. Jennifer has one son Andre , whom she affectionaly calls Dre. She recently married, Mr. Charles Sharpe, who was her classmate from 2nd grade thru 12th

She joined MPBC in early 1998 and has served as President and Vice President of the Women's Ministry. She has worked closely with other ministries at Mount Pleasant and recently worked on the 140th Churh Anniversary celebration. This event was a major milestone in Mount Pleasant Church history.

She recenlty joined the staff at MPBC and servers as Administrative Assistant to Rev. Dr. Leon Todd, Director of Education.  Jennifer dedicated her life to Christ early and started her Christian education with the "Church of the Great Commission" in Temple Hills MD. Jennifer is a Certified Housing Program Specialist and has received a certificate in Hospitality Management. She also attends Phoenix University, Reston, VA.

When asked, she states that her favorite scripture is "Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart and Lean Not To Your Own Understanding"
